Hey everyone, Happy 4th of July!
May we all ponder on what makes this country so great — principles of freedom, democracy and pursuit of happiness.
There will be update this week, and the County Commisioners will be meeting again tomorrow with an expected report from their attorney, Roger Gerlach. We will be there, and we are hopeful that they will vote to move forward with the first reading of the Traditional Neighborhood Ordinance.
Yesterday, Salem celebrated its 125th anniversary, and they had a huge parade and fireworks last night. M.E. Barwacz, CEO of The Laurent Company, attended the festivities and she said she enjoyed the day.
I was at Camp Lakodia in Madison, S.D. for South Dakota Association of the Deaf Biennial Conference, and I had a great time also!
